Refund and Cancellation Policy 환불과 취소 방침
  • In order to receive a full tuition deposit refund, the student must submit, in writing, a notice
    informing English Study Tours that he or she is canceling. The notice must be received
    by us at least 14 days before the class start date for which the student enrolled in order
    to be eligible for a full deposit refund. The registration fee and the activity fee are non-refundable.

Refund and Cancellation Policy for English Study Tours Enrollment

  • All notices of cancellation must be submitted in writing.
    모든 취소 통지서는 반드시 서면으로 제출 하여야 합니다.
  • In order to receive a full deposit refund, the student must submit, in writing, a notice
    informing English Study Tours that he or she is canceling. The notice must be received
    by us at least 14 days before the class start date for which the student enrolled in order
    to be eligible for a full deposit refund. Registration fees and non-refundable.

  • If a student cancels after this 14-day deadline, but before 24 hours before the first day of the session, then he or she will receive a 50% refund of all tuition deposits made.
    수업 시작일 14일전부터 수업 시작일 전날 (24시간내), 그 기간 안에 취소 할 경우 수업료 보증금의 50%를 반환 받으실수 있습니다.

  • If a student cancels after this 24 hour deadline but before the first day of session, then he or she will not receive a tuition deposit refund.
    수업 시작일 전날 24시간 이후에 취소 할 경우, 수업료 보증금은 반환 받으실수 없습니다.

  • The balance of a student's tuition payment and activities fees are due on the first day of the session.  If the student cancels after arriving in class the following refund policy applies:
    학생의 수업료와 과외 활동 비용의 잔액은 수업 시작일날 지불 하시면 됩니다. 수업 시작 후 취소 할 경우, 아래의 환불 방침을 참고 하시기 바랍니다.

  • If the student cancels in the first week of the term, the student shall be refunded 50% of his or her tuition.  If the student cancels in the second week of the term, the student shall be refunded 25% of his or her tuition. If the student cancels in the third week of the term, the student shall be refunded 5% of his or her tuition.  There is no refund for cancellation in the fourth week of the term.

  • Registration fees are non-refundable in any cancellation scenario.

Accommodations Cancellation and Refund Policy 숙박 시설 취소와 환불 방침

  • Cancellation of accommodations made through English Study Tours, anytime after acceptance: if a student cancels an accommodation after accepting the accommodation in writing, the student will forfeit the $145 accommodation fee and will be charged a $50 accommodation cancellation fee. PLEASE NOTE: additional fees may be incurred if the student dealt with an agency.
    English Study Tours를 통해서 숙박 시설 취소를 할 경우, 숙박 시설 배치 후 서면
    으로 취소를 하게 되면, 숙박 시설료 $145를 상실하고, 취소 수수료 $50을 지불
    해야 합니다. 주의 : 본교가 아닌 다른 대리 기관을 통해서 취소를 할 경우, 추가 비용이 더 발생 할수 있습니다.

  • To change accommodations: there will be a $50 change fee if the student decides to change accommodations. Other fees may apply, depending on which outside agents are being used.

General Guideline Policies 일반적인 방침

  • Students who are absent will not be refunded the money for the session for which they missed.
    학생이 결석할 경우 결석한 날의 수업료는 반환 되지 않습니다. Top

  • Students who choose to take a leave of absence will not be refunded any money for the amount of time that they are gone.
    학생이 휴가를 갈 경우 그 휴가 기간 동안의 수업료는 반환 되지 않습니다.

  • Students who miss more than five days of class will be dismissed from the program unless there was an urgent need to be absent, such as, for example, serious illness.
    학생이 심각하게 아프거나 긴박한 사정이 있지 않은 이상, 수업을 5일 이상 무단으로 결석 할 경우 퇴학 조치 됩니다. Top

  • Students who choose to register through an agent are responsible for any fees incurred by that agency.
    다른 대리 기관을 통해서 등록할 경우 문제 발생시 모든 책임은 그 대리 기관에 있습니다.

  • Any student that is denied a visa will be given a full refund.  The refund will be mailed to the student within thirty days from the date of notification.
    비자발급을 거절 당했을 경우는 모든 비용이 반환됩니다. 반환금은 통지를 받은 날로 30일 이내에 반환 될 것입니다.

  • Refunds are given thirty days after the request of cancellation is submitted.  The refund may be picked up in person or it will be mailed to either to the student’s agency or home address if the student is not in Hawaii or has left Hawaii.
    취소 요청서를 받고 30일 이내에 환불을 받으실수 있습니다.  반환금은 학생이 하와이에 체류 하고 있다면, 학생이 직접 찾아 갈수 있습니다. 화아이에 체류 하고 있지 않다면, 학생의 대리 기관이나 한국의 주소지로 연락을 취하여 반환 할 것입니다.

  • English Study Tours English immersion environment is a foundational part of the learning process and, as such, is taken very seriously. The rule requires that English be spoken at all times during any of our sessions.  Exceptions to the rule are as follows: in emergencies; phone conversations to your native country.

  • Students coming to Hawaii to study with English Study Tours must have full medical insurance.
